NEW! The Hellicane BLOGSHOW
The first Hellicane show on BlogTalkRadio show launched Tuesday, August 29, 2006 - the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfall. Even with a broken Internet connection, the show came to life over the phone and via the Gabbly Chat interface on the Hellicane Web site, with many great Hellicane poems being shared with listeners from all over. A huge thanks to the special Hellicane poets whose works were featured on the show and to all the listeners.

About Hellicane
Hellicane
Hellicane was launched September 2, 2005, during the first week of the Hurricane Katrina disaster. It collects and presents poems by, for and about those affected by the tragic Gulf Coast hurricanes of 2005. Averaging 200-300 visitors a day, it is the largest and most-visited site on the Internet dedicated to original hurricane-related poetry. The site's other features: online poetry submission form; GuestMap to leave messages of support for the people of the U.S. Gulf Coast; lively comments forums for weighing in on the poems; and site feed for automatic notification as new poems are added. Hellicane is produced by the San Diego-based podcaster and blogger known as PodPoet.
